Fun Holiday's treats for paws
Contributions went to “Magoo”, and here is his story;

Before Magoo met Dr. Shults (at Maize’s Mission, CEO) had had only known violence, anger and neglect. Dr. Shults was called to Dallas Animal Services to lend her forensic expertise to a cruelty case; there she met 5 month old Magoo. He was beaten by his previous owner until both his back and his left rear leg broke. He was taken in Mazie’s Mission and they immediately started physical and mental healing process. He started out by dragging himself around with his front legs and now he can actually walk! He holds no grudges against humans, even after everything he’s been though. Now his only worry is the other dog in the mirror, who always seems pretty sketchy. After over 3 months of physical therapy and acupuncture he’s still very wobbly but can get around most surfaces. He still has a long road ahead and still needs weekly treatments of PT and acupuncture. His treatments cost $175 dollars a week but we know he’s worth it. Fortunately we have won the civil case against Magoo’s previous attacker and the criminal case is still pending. Your contribution this Holiday season will mean a lot to the mission and Magoo.
